One of the things that many people like about living in the Charlottesville Area is the amount of golf courses available in the area. The Lake Monticello Golf Course is one of the finest in the Charlottesville Area.
LMGC is an 18-hole PGA Championship golf course. The course is 6,925 yards in length. Many improvements have been made to the course recently to improve its playability. The course offers something for players of every skill level.
If you are more interested in improving your skills, the LMGC also offers lessons from their PGA-Certified Golf Professional as part of their full service pro-shop offerings.
There are many different ways to enjoy the course, either as a member, or on an occasional basis. In addition, there are many different organizations and clubs for members, as well as tournaments throughout the year.
There are quite a few golf enthusiasts who choose to buy a home in Lake Monticello because of the golf course. Golf front homes tend to be very desirable, and each year, we work with many buyers and sellers of golf front homes at Lake Monticello.
One of the questions we frequently are asked by people who are interested in buying a home in Lake Monticello is, “What is it like to play the Lake Monticello golf course?”
We thought that a good way to give people an idea of what the course is like would be to show them. With that in mind, we created a photo tour of the Lake Monticello Golf Course. The tour features pictures of all 18 holes on the course. You can view the photo tour in the slide show below:
If you would like to see the pictures individually, as well as descriptions of each hole, visit our LMGC photo set on Flickr.
