Walmart Zion X Roads Grand Opening
Today was a very big day for residents of the Charlottesville Area, especially for those living in Fluvanna, Lake Monticello, and Louisa.
Today was the grand opening of the new Walmart Supercenter at Zion Crossroads. As we told you earlier this week, the Walmart has been a long time coming. Today that time finally came.
There were over 100 people in attendance on a rainy morning, and the store was packed with people all day long.
The event included a full color guard from Fork Union Military Academy, and a performance by the Louisa County High School cheerleaders. We have video of the festivities and the ribbon-cutting:
