Sure, the real estate in the Charlottesville area is great. The scenery is fabulous, and the climate is just right. What makes living in the Charlottesville area truly wonderful, however, is the people. The Charlottesville area is filled with interesting, kind, and hard-working people. Lake Monticello resident Angell Husted fits into all those categories.
The Daily Progress recently published a profile story of Angell, and it is well worth reading. It is almost hard to imagine that anyone who lives in Lake Monticello doesn’t know who Angell is. She has done so much for the community, that even for those who don’t know her by name, they have felt her positive impact on the community.
This quote from Angell in the article just about sums it all up:
“The world can be a tough place and despite our best efforts, awful things can happen. I know that. I’ve felt it,” she said. “Still, I feel it’s my mission to spread words of joy, faith and hope in even the tiniest ways. I was raised to give back from the time I can remember. I saw by example of my parents not only how important it is for the community to receive support from individuals but also how important it is to the individual to give that support. You get so much from giving.”
Thanks, Angell, for all the giving you have done. It is people like you that make the Charlottesville area a wonderful place to call home.
